Christmas Fireplace Card

I love sitting by a nice cozy fireplace in winter and naturally that’s never going to happen on Christmas morning in Australia but hey…I can dream of a white Christmas!!! Here I am with a Christmas card ready in July, there lies a miracle. In fact this is the second Christmas card I made this week, I am on a roll! This year I am trying… and it’s not in my nature, but try I will to get as organised as possible this year. I’m so delighted with this card as I used my new Memory Box Die that I got at the Craft Show and it really adds a pretty dimension. This digi is called Christmas Hearth and it’s from Happileigh Scrappin' and when I saw the cat on the mat I knew it was for me!!! This cat reminds me of my daughters singing teachers cat, and when I’m lucky it gives me some attention and sits on my lap while I pretend to read, but really I just sit on the couch and listen to my daughter sing!

Both of your cards are wonderful, Trish. This one is my favorite, though, due to the kitty baby in front of the hearth. As I sit here with one of my kitty babies on my lap, I couldn't help but identify with your lovely Christmas card. It does look so very festive and holiday-ish. Again, both are wonderful. Keep up the Christmas spirit (HA - easier for you than for me sweltering in 40+ temps!).
