Stella on Summer Holiday 5 o’clock

This stamp reminded me straight away of my mother in law who will be 83 soon and I know she will show the whole neighborhood this card, and they will all totally love the humor!!! As soon as I saw this image at Bugaboo Stamps I knew it would get a laugh and I love how this image comes with it’s own perfect sentiment!! To add a tropical feel I used a cocktail umbrella and added some bright flowers. I used yellow as my 5% accent colour to go with the blue sky & ocean and used it on the frame of my image and added flowers that I have had in my stash for at least 5 years and finally used them.I actually have a whole drawer of flowers, and as I am a hoarder have amassed a fair few over the years and it’s time to start using them up!!! I really love this sand paper to literally bring the beach to my easel card, there is nothing like the feel of sand beneath your really makes you feel like you are on holidays!!
