Wedding Card

I do not usually make wedding cards but I decided James Bond has to get married sooner or later!!! A funny thing happened to me the other day (and no this is not a joke it actually happened) I attended a seminar and a lady sitting opposite me looked very familiar and all day I thought to myself that I knew her face. I finally remembered at the end of the day about 15 minutes before it was over… I said to her “you sang at my wedding”!!! Well I got married 20 years ago…. next Christmas. No wonder it took me so long to remember it must have been filed right at the back of my brain So with refreshed images in my mind of my own wedding this card came to mind!!!  I paper pieced the base half of her dress and ran it thru my Big Shot and stuck down near her waist and used dimensional adhesives to lift and fluff out her dress and I used  lots of glitter on her dress to add some Glitz.CARDS, SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AND DAD'S PIE RECIPE June 2012 069

Hi Trish ref my wedding card , I used an off white glitter card to make the base I edged it with Rose pink promarker then using a pink adorable scorable card from Hunkydory I cut a shape out and placed it on top of the glitter card, then placed a nice lace as a trim.
The tag was made in my Serif Craft Artist graphics program I wrote the word Wedding in a nice font and coloured it pink-ish, then cut it out in to a tag shape.
The digi is called marry me from Krista smith at saturated canary. I coloured her in just ice grey 1 promarker on her dress and coloured her boquet Rose pink. I got all the embellishments from Hobbycraft both in the wedding section and in the home made jewelery section. I cut the image out in an oval shape ( X cut dies) . I then created the flower arrangement around the oval , added a bow and some pearl leaves and that was it .
Hugs Elaine
