Meeting Tim Holtz

Yesterday it was the Queens Birthday Public Holiday here in Australia and to celebrate my girlfriend Vicki Fraser and I went to Brisbane Scrapbook Papercraft Convention and left hubby home with the kids. The special guest at the Stamp It Stand was Tim Holtz, so naturally I went along to meet the legend!!! This is the second time he has come to Australia and I was lucky enough to have a photo with him then as well and have my book autographed!! You learn so much watching him!!!

Vicki and I had a ball popping in to each and every stand, exploring and fossicking. First in at the start of the day and last out the door at the end, yes… die hard shoppers!!! I focused on adding a few dies to my collection and we found products we had never seen before. It was such a fun day out and we bumped into heaps of people we knew, which made the day even better!!

Here is a photo of my girlfriend Vicki Fraser and I am so proud of her as she entered 3 cards in a Australian Card Maker of the Year and one of her cards was published in Australian Simply Cards and received a coveted award of Highly Commended!!! Well done Vicki!!!!

Oh, you name dropper, you!
He's wonderful, isn't he? Sounds like my kind of party...haaaa!
He walked past me, in a corridor, once, but I was too gobsmacked to say anything, lol!

Thanks for the praise Trish, I had to laugh that you only just realised today that the photo with Tim happened for you and not me! lol You were so wrapped up in him and he was sooo dying for a coffee break when we nabbed him that I didn't have the heart to speak up and say I wanted a photo too! There's always next time I suppose lol.
